BC Ferries - Autistic children and their attendant(parent) can travel half-price on any of the BC Ferries.  Application for the BC Ferries Disabled Status Card may be made by going to the BC Ferries website - Accessability Information or phone BC Ferries at 1-250 381-1401.
Nanaimo Swimming Pools - When a caregiver/parent/attendant accompanies an autistic child at any of the Parks & Recreations pools, the attendant is admitted free of charge.  Simply inform the cashier when paying. 
Access 2 Entertainment Card - This card allows persons with a disability to receive either free admission or a significant discount for their support person at member movie theatres and attractions across Canada.  The Access 2 Entertainment program is administered by Easter Seals.  
Child Disability Benefit - The Child Disability Benefit is a tax-free benefit for families who care for a child under age 18 with a severe and prolonged impairment in mental or physical functions.  It is delivered by the Canada Revenue Agency.
